Fijn dat u geïnteresseerd bent in mijn werk en mijn website bezoekt. U vindt hier voorbeelden van werk wat ik sinds 1980 met hart en ziel heb gemaakt als professioneel beeldend kunstenaar, docent HBO, kunstproject initiator en beeldend vaktherapeut. En maak ook vooral een uitstapje naar mijn publicaties; dat geeft aanvullende informatie. In dit stadium van mijn leven ervaar sterk de behoefte om meer en meer te focussen en zorgvuldiger met mijn energie om te gaan. Dus vraag ik mij af wat ik NU, op dit moment in mijn leven nog beeldend zou willen communiceren. Welke vragen ik wil stellen. En vooral welke bijdrage ik op bij mij passende wijze kan leveren aan anderen vanuit mijn ervaring. Interart projecten blijven verleidelijk, gezien vanuit de meerwaarde bij samenwerking met collega's. Installaties geven me de vrijheid om te experimenteren en disciplines te combineren. Fotografie en poëzie laten me spelen. In deze ruimte kan ik blijven experimenteen met vorm en vooral inhoud. Want juist in de leegte kunnen nieuwe creaties ontstaan.
Is this familiar to you? You meet someone for the first time, but it feels as if you recognize the person. You travel to a new destination and when you arrive you feel completely at home. That happens to me when I meet a soulmate, but also when I express myself in clay, paint, photography or landart.
I experience freedom, inner space, peace and joy. Fortunaly I have an abundance of ideas and the possibilities for new creations are endless.
There is always this urge to search for a translation and transformation of my thoughts and feelings. and communicate what needs to be told, because I see myselt as a storyteller.When colour, form, adventure, research and playing comes together, I forget everyting around me and I feel like a child in the playground.Pure Joy. It is this celebration of timelessness that makes me a very fortunate woman.
In the past I guided other people with therapeutic visual art and griefwork. I met the a client in his vunerability. For a while we travelled together. Being a human being with a big heart and open ears for my clients has been a learning process and a blessing. I am very thankfull for this growing experience. And via insta I can follow the progress that my artstudents make. I am a proud lecturer.
